In any channel of any of the five nations, Elters may visit the southeast corner of the Commercial District in Regenshein to patronize the Auction House. A fine establishment which houses all manner of items and equipment which have been given up by their owners for sale. At the Auction House, Elters may conveniently buy and sell the items they have accumulated or wish to own, from fragments of caelium to level 50 swords. The house takes a cut, of course, but what’s a few gold in exchange for incredible variety and the ease of selling items without having to stay in-game for your personal shop?

The first step to turning those extra items into cash or your cash into needed materials and gear at the Auction House is by speaking with the Sales Agent NPCs at the location highlighted on the map above. Diana Sutherland will be happy to take your inquiries. To purchase an item, click the Purchase tab at the top left of the Auction House dialogue and define your criteria. Auction Houses are nation-specific, so you’ll be able to see everything for sale over both PvP and PvE channels of the nation in which you are accessing the Auction House’s inventory.

Items may be sorted by type, class (in the case of class-specific equipment), and/or level range for use.

The “Search Only Usable” function allows you to only search for those items which your character can use, either because of level or class restrictions. Here, a level 30 Crusader is searching for a sword she can use which is suitable for level 20 and above. Although the level range for the search extends to 50, the results will only show swords which may be equipped by a level 30 Crusader. Once you’ve made your decision, select the item and click “Purchase” to buy it. Items with prices greater than the amount of gold in your inventory will display in red lettering and will not be purchasable. After the purchase, the item(s) immediately show up in your inventory.

Registering items is equally simple. Select the “Register Item” tab at the top, then drag the item you wish to sell from your inventory to the box under “Please register item to sell.” Then you can set the price and duration of sale (from 6-72hours). The Auction House will charge different rate deposit fee when you post the item which is non-refundable, even if the item doesn’t sell or you choose to withdraw the item from sale. The tax rate shows the percentage that will be taken from your earnings as tax when the item sells. The Lord Marshal can set this tax rate to varying percentages for both citizens and visitors.

Items which you have posted for sale will show up under Items Posted, as seen above. To remove an item from the Auction House’s inventory, select it under “Items Posted” and click “Remove Item.” The item will transfer into your store window. Click on the “Store” tab to the right of “Sell” to access this window.
Once the item appears under “Items Not Sold,” it may be returned to your inventory.
There you have it! Visit your local Auction House and watch all of those dungeon drops turn into gold without you even having to think about it. Just remember to set a fair price, or else you may end up with many expired items on your hands.
Mails, item and gold within the Mails will be deleted if left un-retrieved for 14 days.
So to prevent item loss, kindly be advised that you are to retrieve your Mails and Items/Gold before it expires.
No reimbursements will be made for losses.
